HOW TO DO IT :
- Act extremely stressed and pull the person you suspect aside.
- Swear them to secrecy and confess a fake weakness or mistake (e.g., 'I completely messed up at work and I might get fired,' or 'I did something terrible to my ex.').
- The Trap: Make sure this 'secret' makes you look vulnerable and weak.
WHY IT WORKS :
- A loyal person will protect you and help you fix it. A traitor or a fake friend will instantly use that weakness as leverage, or gossip about your downfall to others. If the rumor spreads, you cut them off forever.
